Question about Bows
I'm just wondering what the big deal about Storm Bows are? How come a NEAR max damage Storm Bow sells for up to 50k? Why is a Storm Bow better than a Longbow or Flatbow? Any input or info on this would be welcomed.
And so it's clear, I did a search and came up with nada. |

I'm 99.5% sure that the reason they are priced higher than other bows is because
a) how they look b) scarcity Any other weapon with the same scarity would be considered normal and run of the mill, but then when it looks 300% cooler (approximately) then any other bow, every person who has ever seen one wants it. It's the same with the fiery sword (like the one that Rorik had). |

Those are exactly the reasons: Look, and rarity. There is no advantage to them. I've had storm and shadow bows, and I gladly trade/sell them to get the bows I like (longbows & flatbows for range/pulling, and shortbows/halfmoons for fighting).

yep, Storm Bow only has the look to them and its scarcity. that's why they cost so much. but stats-wise, they're like other bows with max damage and mods. in terms of missile projectile and refire rate, it doesnt have any advantage to other the other bows.
